How to reach Manipur:
Manipur because of its tourist appeal is well connected by air route. You can take a flight to Imphal from Calcutta, Dimapur, Silchar, Guwahati and Delhi. If you are taking a train route then Dimapur which is 215 kms from Imphal is the nearest railhead for Manipur. For those taking a road route, regular buses ply between Dimapur and Imphal. Normally it takes about 8-9 hours to reach Imphal. Imphal is connected by a network of roads with all the important cities of North Eastern India.
